Karen DiMarco

THEN: Started all four years for the Red Dragons. Played outside defender and midfielder and eventually moved to Center Midfield as a senior. Karen received All-Regional honors three times and An All American Honor her Senior Year. Her passion for the game started the first day she stepped onto a soccer field as an 11 year old. The most gratifying part of playing for Cortland was having that passion matched by all of her teammates.

NOW: Karen resides in Rochester, NY and works as a Senior Account Manager for Motorola Solutions. Upon leaving Cortland Karen coached Girls High school soccer for 6 seasons. She has a daughter, Carly, currently a student at Penn State University, who is the light of her life. Karen played soccer until she was 42 and coached various youth teams for 8 years after that. She now finds her competition on the paddle tennis courts and still quietly watches high school and college soccer games whenever she can. Karen will be marrying the love of her life in August 2015.
